A Few Missions We Support

Featherston Canyon Christian Camp

Featherstone Canyon Christian Camp is located midway between Lakeside and Ramona in San Diego County. For over 40 years the camp has been host to Christian Retreats, Family Camps, Children's Camps, the Boy and Girl Scouts, as well as for group rallies and rentals to other agencies that meet the guidelines of the camp.  We proudly support Featherstone and its unlimited potential for reaching young people for Christ!

 Ninos de Baja

Their mission is to glorify God by spreading the gospel of Christ to the people of Mexico.

They do this through providing homes and schooling for homeless, abused, and impoverished children in northwestern Mexico.  They also provide a christian outreach and benevolence to children and families in need.  Through distribution of food, clothing and necessities, medical assistance, education assistance programs, therapy programs, daycare services, and assistance with crisis pregnancies, Ninos de Baja is able to provide much needed resources to those who are hurting and/or in trouble.  They also do community outreach evangelism through youth activites, bible studies, and worship.  The ministry at Ninos, located in Ejido El Porvenir, Baja California, Mexico, also offers youth groups and adults from the United States a missions/Christian development experience in Mexico.

A - Z Missions

To all our family in Jesus,

Two young Shona men recently were baptized at the Hillside Chapel. Both young
men were eager to learn and asked to be baptized. We pray that God will help these men to stay on the narrow road during these tough times.
God sees what is done in secret and he will reward appropriately so I don't want to
name individual or churches, but I do want to say thank you. Several sizable
donations have been given for Bibles. This should enable us to buy several hundred
Shona Bible for the African churches once the Bible society gets their next
shipment in. I have also ordered 40 NIV chain reference Bibles for the future
students of ZCC.
Please pray for us. We've got some major decisions to make. Dale's health is
deteriorating. He preached his last sermon this September unless they doctors can
figure out what is wrong and can reverse it. So we need to make some family and
personal decisions regarding health care, the mission work, and whether or not to
move. Its complicated since it involves three families: Dale & Linda, their
dependant daughter, Heidi, with her two children and us. We need wisdom to know
how to do what is best for the kingdom of God and our families.
The situation looks bleak but in all our troubles "we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us." Personally, we have only suffered inconveniences and
frustrations. Please think of us as we think about what would be best for the
future.
Thank you for your prayers and support,

Nick, Lindale, and family.

Santee Food Bank

Sponsored by the

Santee Ministerial Council

For those in our own community who are in need of food.  As a church we give a portion of our offerings to missions but we also incourage those who would like to bring in non-perishable items to the church to be sent over to the Santee Food Bank.

The holiday season is a difficult time of year for many families and recently the amount of families going to the food bank has more than doubled.  Keep this ministry in your hearts and prayers.
